SOLIDARITY CAMPAIGN FOR KENYA

JUNE 2019
Thank you very much to all participants in the solidarity campaign!

The students, the families and the teachers have collaborated in the sale of ballots and we have managed to raise 2,600 euros with the charity draw. We have sent this money to the school in Kirwara through the NGO Green Lion in Kenya. With this collection, we managed to finally get the school to have electricity, toilets and also help some families so that their children can continue studying.
You can watch a video of the project developed in the tab called “campaigns”.

11 FEBRUARY, 2019

The high school students have participated in the “Sport in the school” program through the realization of an adapted sports didactic unit taught by a technician from the Valencian Federation of Adapted Sports. They have experienced in first person what it means to play soccer without vision, to basketball in wheelchairs, etc. The experience has been very positive and rewarding as they have learned that it is possible to practice sports despite the physical difficulties that anyone can have.

QUOTES AND SOLIDARY ART

12 JANUARY 2018

Some phrases and images to reflect and put yourself in the skin of refugees.

” We are not dangerous, we are in danger”

This could be a good motto to understand the situation of thousands of refugees who cross the Meditárrene, fleeing violence and war in search of freedom and from a place where human rights are respected.

According to the latest report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) it is estimated that in 2018 an average of six people a day died during their journey through the Mediterranean.

It is convenient to reflect on this figure. We are talking about human beings, people like you or me, who probably have fathers, brothers, children and other relatives.
