During the 9th and 10th of November 2017, it took place the first transnational coordination meeting of the Erasmus+ KA219 project in Spain.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the partner schools of Italy and Portugal: on the one hand, the teachers, Gabriella Romano and Giusi Balsamo of the Istituto Superiore Elio Vittorini Lentini in Sicily, and on the other hand, the teachers Teresa Farinha and Rita Mendonça in representation of the Escola Básica e Secundária Dr. Ângelo Augusto da Silva in Madeira.
This meeting has been useful to coordinate the different activities that took place during the first year of our project.
In addition, during their stay in Valencia, the teachers had the opportunity to visit the organizations that collaborate actively with our centre, for instance, in the APS (Learning and Service Project).
During the visit to the Refugee Reception Centre of Mislata, its director Felipe Perales guided us through all its facilities and explained us the process of reception and integration of refugees and asylum seekers.
